Back2Eden Lifestyle Presents
Health Education: Health is Wealth!
The pathway to health from a biblical perspective.
What is Health?
Back2Eden (B2EL) health is wealth is all about educating and encouraging persons in making daily decisions as a means of living healthy lifestyles. It is our goal to help persons understand that there are eight (8) laws of health that if simply adapted in our daily lives we can preserve, correct, and if not addressed too late, can even reverse illness or disease.
Back2Eden health is wealth believes that life is an never-ending learning cycle; therefore it is our responsibility as we learn of ways to improve the quality of our lives through “health reform” that we share these principles in the simplest way that every person may understand.
It is our intention that throughout this educational journey our viewers would:
- Understand the conditions necessary for health!
- Understand the nature of disease!
- Understand the importance of ascertaining the cause of disease!

Health Education: Health is Wealth
Some special educational features that we seek to shed light on are:
- The cleansing or detoxing function of the body.
- The nutritional function of the body. Providing your body with what it needs to work optimally.
- The highly recommended 21-day detox methodology” through the use of natural herbs and foods that are considered the most effective way of cleansing and ridding the body from harmful substances while also nourishing that particular system or organ.
Back2Eden health is wealth embraces the statement “let your food be your medicine and your medicine your food” by Hippocrates. We therefore strongly encourage the use of a plant-based palatable diet as the original diet given to mankind by our Creator, God! We at Back2EdenLifestyle believe that “Health is Wealth”! Although this is also established by “good science” we have personally experienced that a meat-less diet or better known as a plant-based diet together with practicing of the 8 laws of health, is the best lifestyle to invest in, to not only improve ones’ health but more importantly to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Therefore persons seeking to improve and maintain health must be intentional in exercising the “willingness to forgo present pleasure for future good”
Introducing the 8 Laws of Health - The Foundation of a Healthy Lifestyle
We have expounded on the importance of cleansing/detoxing, and we have gain a better understanding on the various aspects that expose us to toxins. It’s time for us to dig a little deeper . God has provided an antidote for disease in simple plants which can be used with no denial of faith for by using the blessings provided by God we cooperate with Him. We cannot only place emphasis on the antidotes without spending equal time introducing the EIGHT DOCTORS and the role they play in keeping the nutritive and cleansing action of the body in perfect balance. The relationship between the two is like the Old and New Testament. You cannot accept the one and neglect the other, for together they form a perfect whole.
All the laws of health are important because they either help the body make good blood, or help purify the blood, or help make sure the blood gets to all parts of the body unhindered. It would not do much good if you had pure blood that did not circulate freely and nourish all parts of your body. So the main goal as far as aiming at perfect health is to have pure blood and perfect circulation. Let’s look briefly at each of the eight laws and see how they relate to the secret of good health.
LEARN How to Maintain Your Health Using NEWSTART: The 8 Laws of Health:
• N - Nutrition
• E - Exercise
• W - Water
• S - Sunlight
• T - Temperance
• A - Air
• R - Rest
• T - Trust in God
B2EL Health is Wealth
Nutrition
Truth be told many people have actually reversed disease by doing nothing more than changing their diet. Generally speaking, the decisions we make that most affect our health have to do with the food we eat. While all foods provide nutrients and energy, some can cause disorders and diseases; while others bring health and healing. Hence it is vital to understand foods well in order to select those that maintain our health! “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” – Hippocrates
B2EL Health is Wealth
Exercise
Exercise cleanses the blood stream, which keeps the body strong. Regularity, consistency and moderation is key in improving your memory and brain function, protecting against many chronic diseases, and aiding in weight management…
B2EL Health is Wealth
Water
Drink plenty of water on arising and between meals. Water is the best liquid possible to cleanse the tissues and purify the blood. Two glasses of water on arising with in one a little freshly squeezed lemon juice is a great way to start the day! Drink a short while before breakfast!
B2EL Health is Wealth
Sunlight
Vitamin D is a nutrient your body needs for building and maintaining healthy bones. Vitamin D also regulates many other cellular functions in your body. Sunlight on the skin will provide all the vitamin D you need. The darker the skin complexion the more sun exposure needed…
B2EL Health is Wealth
Temperance
Temperance keeps harmful substances out of the blood stream; keeps it from becoming clogged with toxic by-products of overeating. . If the body’s energy is not wasted on harmful indulgences there is enough energy left over to heal and repair the body…
B2EL Health is Wealth
Air
Oxygen helps burn up impurities in the body, and provides oxygen, a “food” for the cells, through the bloodstream. Your immune system guards your body against dangerous invaders (like viruses and bacteria). Oxygen fuels the cells of this system, keeping it strong and healthy…
B2EL Health is Wealth
Rest
Rest- helps rebuilds the cells of the body. Rest gives the body undisturbed time to build up its strength. Getting enough sleep is essential for helping a person maintain optimal health. When it comes to their health, sleep is as vital as regular exercise and eating a balanced diet. The body heals during sleep…
B2EL Health is Wealth
Trust in God
Remember the promises of God: “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.” John 16:33; Isaiah 41:10.

B2EL Health is Wealth Presents: The Cleansing Function
There is one major cause of disease, and this is acidosis (low pH). The major cause for acidosis is putrefaction of fecal waste reabsorbed into your system, this causes toxemia which means dirty blood. A poor diet, poor digestion, sluggish colon, reduced function in the liver, and dismal elimination from the kidneys all lead to increased toxicity and lack of oxygen at the cellular level.
Considering that cleansing is the most important yet most overlooked part of any effective healing protocol, we at Back2EdenLifestyle (B2EL) seek to assist in this (cleansing/detox) process.
Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins from the body, neutralizing or transforming them, and clearing excess mucus and congestion.
The process of detoxification like any other process has an intelligent order, or as some may call it a highly recommended sequence to follow:
i. Colon Cleanse
ii. Parasite Cleanse
iii. Kidney Cleanse
iv. Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse
v. Lung Cleanse
vi. Lymphatic Cleanse
vii. Blood Cleanse
B2EL Health is Wealth Presents: Body Functions - The Nutritive Function
In Genesis Chapter 1:29 we read the following: “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat”
So God, who is our Creator, who made our body so wonderfully knew what diet is best for us. He appointed us our food that when used in a palatable manner would give our bodies the nutrition that is necessary for the proper functioning of this human machinery called our “body”.
As we partake of our original diet (plant-based food) our bodies will get (first hand) the necessary vitamins and minerals in the right balance for efficient absorption and utilization by the body which in-turn preserves and or improves health in collaboration with the keeping of the 8 laws of health.
When a large variety of whole plant based foods are sufficiently combined and included in the diet the nutrients needed for optimum health are usually supplied. However, to avoid deficiency, vitamins, mineral supplements are readily available. Below we will touch on the most important vitamins and minerals the body needs to adequately fulfill its nutritive role.
B2EL Health is Wealth Presents: Health & Toxicity
When we get an unhealthy buildup of toxins in our body, it’s not pretty. These excess toxins will cause physical and mental health issues like chronic fatigue, headaches, insomnia and diseases. Many of these toxins come from things you use or consume everyday like food, water, beauty and personal care products and the environment. If you’re wondering why it’s so important to cleanse and detox your body, take a look below.
You’ll see that there are many harsh pollutants and harmful pesticides in our environment that should not stay in your body. Since our body organs work together to help eliminate these trapped toxins, it’s important that they’re all healthy and in working order. The liver, kidneys, colon, lungs, skin and lymphatic system are especially useful and important when it comes to cleansing the body.
The Seven Toxicities:
This information is taken from the book; “Cancer step outside the box, by Ty Bollinger”. However, the information quoted concerning the 7 toxicities is authored by Dr. Buttar”:
1. Heavy Metals
2. Persistent Organic Pollution
3. Oppurtunistics
4. Energetic Toxicity
5. Food Toxicity
6. Emotional Toxicity
7. Spiritual Toxicity

Below you will find mentioned some of the most common & important diseases, their causes, and a link to a PDF document where we share information about what we can do to heal & prevent them.
B2EL Health is Wealth: Understanding Disease
Ischemic Heart Disease
The world’s biggest killer is ischemic heart disease, responsible for 16% of the world’s total deaths. Since 2000, the largest increase in deaths has been for this disease, rising by more than 2 million to 8.9 million deaths in 2019. Ischemic heart disease is a condition of recurring chest pain or discomfort that occurs when a part of the heart does not receive enough blood. This condition occurs most often during exertion or excitement, when the heart requires greater blood flow. The chance of suffering an infarction increases with age. This increment is significant in men over 45 years and women over 55. This age difference between men and women regarding the onset of greater risk is due to the influence of hormones on the blood vessels. Signs and symptoms of ischemic heart disease…..

Lower respiratory tract
infection (LRTI)
Lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) is a term often used as a synonym for pneumonia but can also be applied to other types of infection including lung abscess and acute bronchitis. Symptoms include shortness of breath, weakness, fever, chills, aching muscles, coughing, sore throat, bloody sputum, enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, fatigue, and pain in the chest.
Pneumonia (Lung Fever) Is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. The air sacs may fill with fluid or pus (purulent material), causing cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills, and difficulty breathing….

Lung Cancer
This cancer is the most common form of cancer that kills both men and women. Nearly 200,000 people die of lung cancer yearly.
There are two types: small-cell (oat cell) and large cell lung cancer. The small-cell type, commonly found in smokers, grows rapidly and quickly spreads to other parts of the body. About 75% of lung cancer are of the large-cell type.
Smoking is the leading cause of both types of lung cancer. But some contract the disease through smoking marijuana and breathing secondary smoke. Lung cancer is also caused by exposure to nickel, asbestos, chromates, arsenic compounds, radon, pesticides, pollution, or radioactive substances. Other factors include drinking alcohol, tuberculosis, chronic bronchitis, lung scarring from pneumonia, exposure to talcum powder, and deficiency or excess of vitamin A…

COPD
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. Symptoms include breathing difficulty, cough, mucus (sputum) production and wheezing. It’s typically caused by long-term exposure to irritating gases or particulate matter, most often from cigarette smoke. Over time, COPD makes it harder to breathe. People with COPD are at increased risk of developing heart disease. Two main types of COPD are:
Emphysema –This lung disease causes destruction of the fragile walls and elastic fibers of the alveoli. Small airways collapse when you exhale, impairing airflow out of your lungs.
Chronic bronchitis – In this condition, your bronchial tubes become inflamed and narrowed and your lungs produce more mucus….

Diabetes Miletus
Diabetes mellitus is a disorder in which the body does not produce enough or respond normally to insulin, causing blood sugar (glucose) levels to be abnormally high. Urination and thirst are increased, and people may lose weight even if they are not trying to. There are three main types of diabetes: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes (diabetes while pregnant). In addition to type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes, there are a range of other types of diabetes, which are just as important:
Maturity onset diabetes of the young (MODY), Neonatal diabetes, Wolfram Syndrome, Alström Syndrome, Latent Autoimmune diabetes in Adults (LADA), Type 3c diabetes, Steroid-induced diabetes…

Hypertension
High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is blood pressure that is higher than normal. Your blood pressure changes throughout the day based on your activities. Having blood pressure measures consistently above normal may result in a diagnosis of high blood pressure.
Cardiovascular disease risk doubles for each 20/10-mmHg increase in blood pressure. Here are the hypertension stages :
▪ Normal: systolic less than 120 mm Hg and diastolic less than 80 mm Hg. Lower is generally better
▪ Elevated: systolic between 120-129 mm Hg and diastolic less than 80 mm Hg.
▪ Stage 1: systolic between 130-139 mm Hg or diastolic between 80-89 mm Hg.
▪ Stage 2: systolic at least 140 mm Hg or diastolic at least 90 mm Hg…

Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer’s disease is named after Dr. Alois Alzheimer. In 1906, Dr. Alzheimer noticed changes in the brain tissue of a woman who had died of an unusual mental illness. Her symptoms included memory loss, language problems, and unpredictable behavior. After she died, he examined her brain and found many abnormal clumps (now called amyloid plaques) and tangled bundles of fibers (now called neurofibrillary, or tau, tangles). It’s a slow, progressive wasting of the brain. This produces depression, agitation, withdrawal, insomnia, irritability, memory loss, personality changes, severe mood swings, and senility…

Diarrheal Diseases
Diarrheal diseases are a collection of diseases caused by multiple viral, bacterial, and parasitic organisms that share the common symptom of diarrhea, defined as the passage of three or more loose or liquid stools per day.
Diarrheal diseases affect people of all ages throughout the world, and can lead to severe dehydration or even death when left untreated.
Infectious organisms that cause diarrhea are primarily transmitted by the oral-fecal route, such as when fecal matter contaminates food or water or from person-to-person contact in situations with poor hygiene. Other possible causes include…

Diverticulitis
Diverticulitis is the infection or inflammation of pouches that can form in your intestines. These pouches are called diverticula. The pouches generally aren’t harmful. They can show up anywhere in your intestines. If you have them, it’s called diverticulosis. If they become infected or inflamed, you have diverticulitis. Sometimes, diverticulitis is minor. But it can also be severe, with a massive infection or perforation of the bowel. No symptoms appear until this becomes infected or inflamed, resulting in chills, fever, and pain. The pain may be localized in the left lower quadrant of the abdomen and may be constant. Sometimes there is a brief period of diarrhea. If you are over 40 and have periodic abdominal cramps, gas, and diarrhea alternating with constipation, you may have diverticulitis…

Cataracts
A cataract is when your eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy. Proteins in your lens break down and cause things to look blurry, hazy or less colorful. Inside our eyes, we have a natural lens. The lens bends (refracts) light rays that come into the eye to help us see. This lens should be clear.
Ascertaining the cause:
Congenital cataracts:
- If the mother had rubella during the first three months of pregnancy
- If the infant has galactosemia
- Smokers
- Steroids use
- Heavy metal poisoning

Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, the health of which is vital for good vision.
This damage is often caused by an abnormally high pressure in your eye. Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness for people over the age of 60.
Early symptoms include eye pain or discomfort mainly in the morning, blurred vision, halos around sources of light, inability to adjust to darker conditions, and peripheral (side) vision loss (resulting in tunnel vision).
Nathan Pitikin (American nutritionist) says the cause of glaucoma is atherosclerotic plaque buildup within the eye, caused by eating too much saturated fat…

Poor Circulation
Poor circulation: Plaque buildup, blood clots or narrowed blood vessels can lead to poor circulation. When obstacles or narrow paths slow down blood flow, it’s difficult for your body to send blood to every part of your body in an efficient way. Poor circulation is not limited to the elderly!
Ascertaining the cause:
- ︎Elevated cholesterol or triglyceride levels
- Eating high cholesterol foods (such as meat, eggs, whole milk, or milk products)
- ︎Lack of exercise
- Dehydration
- Emotional stress…

Chron's Disease
Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.
Three special facts about Crohn’s disease:
1. The ulceration reaches into all layers of the GI wall
2. The entire GI tract can be involved, from month to anus
3. As the inflamed portion heal, scar tissue remains which keeps narrowing the channel. Making this for most people a long lasting condition.
